Ashish Singla joins FSG with finance experience across startups and various other sized entities. He firmly believes in the power of financial management to deliver outstanding organizational performance. At FSG, Ashish Singla is responsible for overall finance function of the Mumbai office, while working closely with both Mumbai and U.S. leadership. He is currently working on developing processes to streamline the finance function customized to Indian statutory requirements. Also, being part of the management team, he is responsible for presenting and maintaining budgets and operational performance as it relates to the Finance function on regular basis.
Before FSG
Prior to joining FSG, Ashish Singla worked as a practicing chartered accountant catering to fast growing startups and other small and medium sized entities. During his practice stint, inter alia, he conducted a fraud investigation after being hired by a U.S. investor to investigate lapses and suspected fraud charges against a startup having raised 1.4 Million USD. He also performed financial and legal due diligence of a startup in Delhi looking to raise Series A funding from a Mauritius-based social fund.
Ashish Singla completed his articleship with Ernst & Young (EY) in the audit and assurance division. During his stint with EY, he also worked in their forensic investigation and dispute practice briefly for 6 months.
