Role at FSG
Carina brings a passion for social change, strategy, and measurement with an emphasis on listening, rigorous analysis, and co-creation. At FSG, Carina has partnered with a large and diverse set of clients to tackle important strategic and social challenges in education, environment, and global health. Carina has worked with corporate clients from the technology, pharmaceutical, and energy sectors, including Shell, Novo Nordisk, and Abbott. She has also worked closely on strategy and evaluation with a number of private and community foundations in the US and Europe, including the Knight Foundation, the New York Community Trust, and the Silicon Valley Community Foundation. She has also led several workshops on shared value, collective impact, and evaluation.
Before joining FSG, Carina worked for Harvard Business School and the World Bank, where she evaluated a weather insurance product for small farmers in South Asia. Prior to that, she worked on development policy with the Ugandan Ministry of Finance and managed investment projects in West Africa for the European Investment Bank. In addition, she has worked for McKinsey & Company and Eastside Consulting, a third sector focused consulting firm, analyzing corporate strategy for a wide range of SMEs.
