Role at FSG
Jared is responsible for conducting research and analysis, and turning it into actionable recommendations for various clients. He is particularly interested in helping large multinational corporations implement shared value strategies to positively affect the communities they serve, as well as using analyses to discover meaningful results in education and community foundation fields. Recent projects include working with the Communities Foundation of Texas to explore expansion opportunities of the D3 Institute.
Prior to joining FSG, Jared conducted demographic and economic research on the U.S. and Canada for McKinsey & Company to support client service teams globally. While with McKinsey, Jared also interned on a research team specifically focused on aerospace and defense as well as the industrial high-tech sector. Prior to his work with McKinsey, Jared conducted demand-based feasibility studies for the hospitality and particularly casino industry in the U.S. and Caribbean through an internship with The Innovation Group. Supplementing his private sector internships, Jared also interned conducting evaluations of nonprofits in New York and Massachusetts for Root Cause. While in university, Jared worked with the start-up social enterprise Njabini to help streamline their commercial shipping operations from Kenya to the U.S.
