Role at FSG
At FSG, John works as part of case teams to help clients articulate their goals within a given framework, and then create and design solutions to social challenges. He is particularly interested in energy and the environment, as well as how seemingly disparate social groups can come together to engender lasting, social change.
Prior to joining FSG, John served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Mozambique. There, he worked with a community-based organization to oversee planning and implementation of initiatives to overcome boundaries to HIV/AIDS treatment for people living in rural areas. He also co-created a project to reduce malaria contraction rates by empowering residents to manage a project to install screens on windows of homes. He worked in conjunction with the Ministry of Science and Technology in Mozambique to organize a provincial-wide, secondary school science fair. Additionally, he has tutored students in both America and Mozambique in a wide range of subjects.
