Erin comes to FSG with experience building and implementing cross-sector workforce development, education, and economic development strategies. As a director, Erin helps clients think through complex problems and design solutions to achieve greater social impact.
Before FSG
Prior to joining FSG, Erin worked at World Business Chicago (WBC), a public private partnership that served as the backbone organization for the City of Chicago’s economic development plan. Erin oversaw the organization’s workforce development strategy, which focused on bringing together employers, foundations, nonprofits, and public sector partners to develop collaborative workforce solutions that advance employment equity. In this role, Erin also worked directly with employers in multiple industry sectors on ways to shift their hiring practices in order to recruit and retain a more diverse workforce. Prior to WBC, Erin worked as an analyst in the Social & Economic Policy division of Abt Associates, a research and program evaluation firm. At Abt, she worked with clients to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of education, housing, workforce, and economic mobility programs and strategies. Erin also has experience working for multiple levels of government, both as a fellow at the Chicago Mayor’s Office and at the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Education and the Workforce.
