George joins the Talent Rewire team at FSG with extensive experience in education, DEI, and facilitation. As associate director of employer transformation, George will develop innovative curriculums and facilitate employer engagements for a mix of virtual and in-person events to inspire mindset shifts and practice change for employer participants on both an individual and organizational level. He will support both employers and frontline workers when implementing strategies that increase opportunity employment and perpetuate more equitable systems.
Before FSG
Before FSG, George worked in education and equity-focused community engagement for over 20 years. He has had the role of high school social studies teacher, program director, youth empowerment center director, and consultant in the Portland area and beyond. His work as an educator, facilitator, and DEI practitioner in school and community settings focused on fostering self-awareness and others’ awareness to support systems awareness in this work. He believes we cannot change systems until we understand how they operate and who they privilege.

On Working at FSG
I am deeply privileged to work on equitable systems change at FSG. I work with an inspiring team of people who dive into social impact and employer transformation with equal parts head and heart. With so many individuals being either neglected and/or actively marginalized by the systems that surround us, I am grateful to hold those stories and interface with employers who have the opportunity to make meaningful and lasting change for frontline workers.
