Jarryd joins FSG with a professional background at the intersection of economic development, community advocacy, and racial equity. He has a history of advancing cross-sectoral partnerships, writing novel research briefs, and leveraging economic analysis data to support qualitative research. As a consultant, he supports clients seeking to bolster their economic mobility and racial equity efforts.
Before FSG
Prior to joining FSG, Jarryd was a Sr. Policy and Research Associate with Kindred Futures, a community-based nonprofit in Atlanta. As the Senior Research Associate, he led a portfolio of research objectives that furthered the understanding of wealth-building strategies and the related racial wealth gap at the community level. He engaged the local community in dialogue regarding the various avenues for wealth building, aligned their lived expertise with policy solutions that ensure long-term prosperity, and supported the development of critical economic indicators that direct our understanding of how to close the racial wealth gap.
He has also held roles as a Research Assistant for the Sol Price Center for Social Innovation and a Racial Equity Project Manager for McMaster Carr, developing sustainable practices to promote equity in the workplace. He has furthered his work in the social space for organizations like Social Enterprise U.K., Chevron, Vox Communications, and more.
