Kaavya joins FSG with a background in research and consulting across a variety of social sectors in the Global South. She is interested in projects relating to international development and economic mobility and is passionate about using human-centered, context-specific approaches to key development challenges.
Before FSG
Kaavya spent 3 years at the Busara Center for Behavioral Economics, a research advisory and consulting firm, with a focus on social inclusion challenges in the Global South. Her portfolio experience includes gender-based violence, economic empowerment, and natural resource management. During her time at Busara, she conducted formative research, in-depth data analysis, led design workshops, developed social and behavior change strategies, developed and tested prototypes, and led impact evaluations. Kaavya has also worked at TDC, a consulting firm, and worked primarily on strategic planning projects with arts and culture nonprofits.
