Lavanya joins FSG with prior experience in business analytics. She is responsible for conducting research and analysis for various programmatic areas within the inclusive markets approach. She is currently working on market-based sanitation (MBS) approaches to increase access to sanitation facilities in Tanzania.
Before FSG
Prior to joining FSG, Lavanya worked as an analyst in the retail division of a food-tech giant where she strategized negotiations for acquisitions and undertook menu re-engineering to reduce drop-off in the user journey. Prior to this, she interned in the Program Management division at Pratham Education Foundation, Mumbai.
Lavanya graduated with a degree in Economics from Hindu College, Delhi University. While on campus, she was actively involved in a social entrepreneurship organization called Enactus and led a project there, which grew her interest in the development space.
