Lolita Castrique-Meier

Lolita has around a decade of strategy consulting experience advising some of the leading corporations, nonprofits, and foundations across Europe, the U.S., and Africa.

As a director in FSG’s Washington, DC office, Lolita has worked with clients across a range of issues, including U.S. and global health, agricultural development, education, and global development. Her projects are focused on developing strategies, designing programs, and learning and evaluation approaches that generate tangible and long-term social impact and reduce systemic inequities. Lolita’s experience and interest also lie at the intersection of economic and societal progress. She has helped multiple corporations on innovative CSR, purpose-led, and shared value strategies, helping unlock new business opportunities that simultaneously address serious social challenges. Lolita has authored multiple publications on social change, the role of corporations in society, and philanthropic effectiveness.

Before FSG

Prior to FSG, Lolita worked as a public sector consultant focusing on helping governments in Africa and Eastern Europe reinforce their regulatory, fiscal, and control policies. As part of this work, she conducted transparency audits to increase accountability of tax collection in the extractives sector in Chad, Ivory Coast, Mauritania, and Albania. Lolita also brings experience in financial analysis, having worked as an analyst for one of the largest private banks in Europe. During graduate school, Lolita led a consulting project on assessing innovation and durability of sustainable development initiatives in megalopolis of LMICs.
