Michael joins FSG with a background in program development, evaluation research, and strategic planning. He is passionate about building cross-sector partnerships, advancing equity, and developing evaluation tools to strengthen the impact of social change initiatives. As a consultant, Michael collaborates with clients to develop strategic solutions that advance equitable progress on complex social problems.
Before FSG
Prior to FSG, Michael served with Women Political Leaders developing programs and coordinating social research to advance the number and influence of women in positions of political leadership across the globe. Michael was selected as a 2020 McLarty Scholar, serving with Vital Voices Global Partnership, where he conducted evaluation research focused on women’s leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic. During his time at the Clinton School of Public Service, Michael collaborated with the Arkansas Homeless Coalition to conduct an impact evaluation of the Transportation Alliance Project, an innovative cross-sector partnership focused on providing transportation services to persons experiencing homelessness—a key link to accessing an additional wide-range of services to meet their expressed needs. While an undergraduate student, he served as student body president, co-led a state-wide research study to better understand textbook affordability in higher education across Kansas, and advocated at the Kansas Board of Regents for a system-wide adoption of Open Educational Resources.
