FSG collaborated with the H&M Foundation on an initiative targeted at improvements in the quality of life of waste pickers and their households in Bengaluru, India. FSG assessed the need and scope for such a collective impact initiative in Bengaluru, and later provided advisory support to help launch and implement the initiative.
The initiative takes a holistic approach to improve the waste pickers’ lives by supporting them with economic or livelihood opportunities, and also with essential services, like education, health, WASH, access to finance, and more.
